After being reported as “”Almost distinguished” on 27 June, Komani Toastmasters became a Select Distinguished Club over the next three days.
The Select Distinguished award truly is a stellar achievement for Komani Toastmasters. The club chartered on 24 June 2020. This achievement happened during the covid pandemic.
The Distinguished Club Program (DCP) is a program that checks on club’s health. It encourages club members to complete education projects and sign on new members. The DCP also encourages club officers to attend training and maintain good club administration.
The award is for clubs that meet the membership requirement and achieves seven or eight of the 10 goals.
